Vinyards of Ranchelle

All the vinyards of Ranchelle are maintained following the principles of biodynamic farming with yearly green-manure. During the grape season they are treated only with minimal amounts of brimstone and copper-sulfate (ca. 25% of the quantities allowed in organic farming).

1 ha with 60 years old vines. Typical old vinyard of the Maremma with a mixture of indigenous grape varieties of the area. The wines Millocchio Bianco and Millocchio Rosso are made with the grapes of this vinyard.
1 ha planted in 2015, with half Cliegiolo and half Alicante grapes - two traditional red grape varieties of the Maremma. These grapes are used for the light red wine Pergolacce provide the red grapes of the rosé wine Corindo.
1 ha planted in 2015 with the typical white grape varieties of Pitigliano: Procanico, Nocchianello, Duropersico, Verdello und Clairette. These grapes are used for the light white wine Roccolina and provide the white grapes for the rosé wine Corindo.
1,5 ha planted in 2016 with half Ansonica und half red varieties (mainly Alicante). These grapes are used to produce the light white wine Roccolina, the light red wine Pergolacce and give the grapes for the rosé wine Corindo.
